Milliohmmeters
Many products for automotive, industrial, and civil applications require continuity tests or measurements of conduction resistance to verify the quality of wiring crimping, contact welding, and switch conduction.
The test is performed using a volt-ampere methodology, measuring the voltage induced on the resistance by a constant current supplied by the instrument with a Kelvin 4-wire method.
Within this product category, our standard milliohmmeters and resistance meters include:
- EOM2008: Programmable threshold resistance meter, configurable with a variable current generator.
- MOM2009: Programmable resistance meter with multiple programs.
These applications require a careful evaluation of the best configuration between the current generator and the meter measuring the induced voltage drop. Therefore, each instrument is customized based on the specifications of the application.
