Automotive Headlight and Taillight Testing

In the automotive exterior lighting sector, ECB boasts over thirty years of extensive experience in testing vehicle exterior lighting: from leak testing to comprehensive functional testing of headlights, fog lights, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), taillights, third brake lights, license plate lights, turn signals, clearance lights, and reflectors.
All of these products have undergone significant evolution over the years, transitioning from simple incandescent bulbs to LED devices and even OLED displays with animation capabilities. The world’s first headlight with OLED technology, developed for the AUDI TT RS, was fully tested using our equipment: from leak testing to functional testing—a concrete example of our commitment to testing next-generation components.
These components typically require tests that include electrical absorption checks, compliance with light emission standards, and CAN and/or LIN communication.
